The reports detail that Palley was hired after he made his comments on Twitter about the threats of the lawsuit. Bitfinex has not responded publicly to the newly acquired representation that the anonymous blogger hired or the letter. Palley is known for his comments on Twitter about initial offers of currencies (ICO) and litigation of cryptocurrencies. Palley has also made statements in the past about other demands that take place within the digital currency industry.
Recently, the Twitter name of ‘Bitfinex’ed’ was suspended, but the account is back online and recently shared the news of the newly hired legal team. The anonymous person has also been accepting donations for the legal battalion and has accumulated 2.49 BTC ($ 22K USD).
